Which centre rear view mirror MNR?
Hi,
Which style of centre rear view mirror have people used for SVA? I have tried a suction cup style and it doesn't angle correctly when mounted on
the MNR scuttle unless you wish to see pursuing helicopters!
Thanks,
Steve

We use a modified sierra one.
procedure as follows.
Nip down scrap yard pull mirror and mounting arm off sierra ( I am sure others are usable ).
Cut the plate off ( where you would stick the sticky pad on and atah to screen )
sleave the other end with a peice of tube and 5-6 inches. stick in place or mash up the tube so the mirror end cant move.
other end of the tube inseret / stick / weld an m5 or m6 bolt in.
Bolt through scuttle ( this can be replaced with the single bolt one when the SVA one falls off ) as shown on many of the MNR cars.
Sure Marc / chris will let you borrow one
will see if I have a photo

Why not just use a suction one, couple of quid in Wilkinsons or about 8 quid in Halfrauds, was fine for my SVA!
Rich.

The angle of the MNR scuttle means it wont adjust far enough down to see the road behind.
