mnr horn wiring

Hi all can anybody tell me why the horn stays on all the time i recall something about this but am unable to find PLEASE HELP!!!

Try swapping the wires round on the horn.

It must be earthing somewhere as it is a switched earth.

There are two threads on here that cover this subject. Do a search for the details.

The wiring chart for the sierra switches is wrong. They tell you to earth the wrong pin. The effect is that the horn is on unless you press the button. Use the correct earth on the switches and it will all work properly.

The relay is the same as the others on the relay panel. The "horn" (or washer switch) is interconnected to the wipers and headlights and so it won't work properly over all combinations of switch position, even if you swapped the relay, which in itself is not a good idea as it would be engergised all the time except when you want the horn to sound.

Best making the mod that I described some time ago.
