Car width??! RT PLUS

What are peoples widths of Rt plus's ive been looking at buying a trailer from brian james as they are no decent second hand ones!

my car measures (tyre to tyre) 5ft9 at front and 5ft7 at back although i guess i need some setting up done!

most catheram style trailers are 5ft5, 5ft6 and 5ft9 max bed width!!! so my car wont fit ??

can anyone confirm sizes or direct me to a trailer that can do the job, although it needs to be narrower that 7ft overall

Will your 5'9" car not fit on the 5'9" trailer then?

My RT is about 1700mm wide at the rear but is narrower at the front.

No because of the small lip on either side of the trailer, it would be a squeeze and bloody expensive at that size!!!

strange how the front of my car is bigger than the back, and ive got the tighter off set wheels on ET38

I have an RT not an RT+. It has a Sierra front with different wishbones to the Cortina front of the RT+
