New owner(s)
Hi all,
Once upon a time I was part of this forum when I was checking into which car to build. I had decided on a Vortx, decided the spec, spoke to MNR etc
but was then offered a Ram Cobra chassis cheap and so didn't go ahead with the build.
This is just to say hi again as me and a mate (Jon) have just bought the Orange ex-demo car from MNR.
It's getting fitted with a cage and then we'll bring it back to Cardiff.
So hello all, and thanks for keeping up a great forum, it has been a great help in making that all important decision to 'redirect' the
kids college fund on the car!

Hi Ed
I'm picking up my new MNR kit in Feb and bringing it back to Penarth. Good to have someone else local.

Probably realised how much it really costs to build one.
Our numbers are growing in sunny south wales.

A few more cars and we'll be able to get Llandow exclusively!!
One step at a time though, have to learn to drive first.
The Ram is still on the go, Chevy stroked 383, but 3 kids too so little steps. And yes it is bloody expensive but the body and rolling chassis was a
steal so I got off to a good start. A few extras too like traction control from Racelogic.
Thinking about it, has anyone fitted the Racelogic system to an R1 engined MNR?
Told you Jon, a bad case of upgrade-itis already!
Tim, I have quite a bit if kit like a currently unused engine stand from the Ram build so if I can help give me a shout.

Sully is local!! - I was actually house-sitting there up until last week!
Llandow is a def' option - particularly as a few of the guys are prepapred to travel down! I plan to get mine run-in and test there anyway!
We'll have to organise a pub meetor something in the mean time.
There's a few guys in the South West, Lenny in Llandaff, Richard in Bridgend(ish?), Fesycresy in Cwmbran. Sorted.

I'm over in Cardiff quite a bit too, only being just over the water in Bristol...
We'll definitely have to meet up when we've got a few cars on the road.
