Tracking ideas!?

Right I'm coming to the point of getting the car on the track before SVA prep, to bed it all in. I haven'e given the tracking any thought yet and am in a fairly confined space in the garage...

How have people set up their VortX RTs? What's a good base setting for some self centering and good handling?

Any ideas are much welcomed!

Non MNR specific advice is also welcomed!

Thanks for any pointers...

Chris.

I set mine up using dunlop tracking gauges and a camber gauge.

From the note on the garage wall:

Front
1.2 deg -ve camber,
1mm toe in per side
front bone parallel

Rear
1.5 deg -ve camber
1mm toe out each side
ride height 35mm higher at the rear

for the tracking part
best bet is two poles wood, steel whatever, grooves in each end of poles, fishing line and some lead fishing weights, and four axle stands, one pole at front of car one at rear, string line inbetween them in the grooves of your poles ( fishing weights are for each end to give the fishing line some tension and make sure its taught ) measure distance from hub centre on rear set so strings give equal values each side set front end same, measure wheel rim front and back and hey presto you have your own tracking gauges
camber is a tricky one if your garage floor isnt too level, but if you send me an email in the morning i can measure the length of my top arm and that will give you a near enough guide

cheers
