Its in my Garage

Thought the day would never come, but hey, it did Sat 22nd, 70 mile round trip to Harrogate in hired Luton and hey-presto, I believe Marc's first MX5 based chassis is on the stands and set to go.
1st job recover from man flue, 2nd some special party called Christmas (hope you all had a good one) next job see whats missing! That done, get pass from SWMBO and 2 panels made, pedal box in and assembled, break pipes in and diff re fitted (extra bolt holes drilled) bolts sourced and fitted. Now it feels like I have started.

SWMBO reminded me that we had guests coming last night. so stopped again.

Happy New Year

Dave

Dave Seen you chassis it looked good.

I think you be one of a few MX5 Kits espicially when you look at the engineering in the mx5 donner parts compared to seirra.

Get some photos posted up.

Good to hear Dave!

I'm coming up to the finishing stages of my build and proper excited...

What's the advantage of the MX5 based kit then? Do you use the Mazda differential too? What are the ratios like?

Take it easy,

Chris.

Hi Dave,

First upload your picture to the photo archive. Then open it in the archive and right click on it. Select properties and it will display a URL somthing like this http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/upload/Build%202%20Download%20013a.jpg. hilight and copy the url and then paste it into your post then finally put (square bracket) img (square bracket) before it and (square bracket) /img (square bracket) immediately after it. The square brackets look like this[] so just put img and /img inside them at each end of the URL.
