changing front wheels...
hi there,
maybe a dummy question, but does anyone can tell me how to swap front wheels quickly???
i've got 13 inch wheels, with "large" wings and it's a f**** job to take off the wheels because front wings don't allow
the rims to get off!
i know i can unscrew the four bolts on wing stay, but it's too long (going to swap them since my car only goes on track)
if someone here have a good solution to make it easy.... (would like to keep this wings if possible)
next dummy question to follow!!

changing front wheels
Just put spacers under the wing bolts, lift the wings up a little higher.

smaller wheels
or spacers to lift the wing slightly
or if it ONLY goes on the track, do you need wings?

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Trim the outside edge of the wings right back.

no pics but it's what i did when i had to swap back to an MK cycle wing after one of my dax ones went for flying lessons. took about an inch and
a half off all the outside edge.
if you leave the inside edge full depth, it should reduce the tendency for them to flap a bit more.

No, I haven't - I've resigned myself to loosening off the wingstays when I need to change - I couldn't bring myself to mutilate my
lovely carbon CSR arches. However, perhaps the best picture of how you might do this is here:
This is the standard MNR arch trimmed to shape.
