Lower Wishbone Rose Joint
Hi guys, can anyone recommend where i can get replacement rose joints for my lower front wishbones? Im giving my MNR a bit of a spruce up and want to
get new joints after the wishbones are powdercoated.
The rose joints i need are the same as in the pic...

Look for "Spherical Bearing" rather than Rose joint first take it out and measure it and buy the best quality you can find ---
suppliers are the usual suspects I would try McGill Motorsport first but I'm a cheap skate.

MNR?
Or http://www.brammer.co.uk/ who have branches in most towns.
Brammer will be one of the cheapest and where a lot of other suppliers will be sourcing from.

Cheers guys, I've just got a load of stuff from mcgills so will give them a try in the morning..... Failing that I will try Brammer. I've
had a look and they have a branch in Paisley so it's not far away.
I've emailed Chris at MNR, but was just checking for any other obvious places.
Thanks for al the help!

How do you measure the size of the spherical bearing, is it the hole diameter?

Does anyone know how easy it should be to remove the camber adjusters from the front upper wishbones, are they threaded in to the wishbone?
Ive removed the rose joint but the camber adjuster seems to be really tight in. Im wary about trying to knock them out as they Re made of aluminium
and i dont know how well they would stand up to it.

I've just replaced all the rose joints, and spherical bearings on my MNR. I fitted boots over the Rosejoints too to help protect them. The
spherical bearing in the lower front wishbone was a metric m16 spherical bearing, which seemed strange to use, as everything else is imperial, and you
can get a very similar bearing that has a slightly smaller outer diameter (32mm vs 38mm of the metric M16), but is much easier to get hold of.

Cheers for the help Davey, I had thought about fitting boots over the rose joints but have already spent a fair bit on rosé joints, bushes, nuts bolts
and powder coating next..... Why I never thought to do all this over the winter months when I wasn't getting ready to put the car back on the
road, I will never know.....!
Looks like I've possibly ordered the wrong spherical bearings then :-(
I ordered these from mcgill's.....

I was scratching my head for awhile over that bearing. I took it out to me measure it, presuming that it would be that bearing from McGill, but it was
measuring at 1.5"/38mm where as the one at McGill's measures 36.5125 mm. All other measurements were the same. After doing some Google
searching I found the m16, but nowhere advertising them for sale online in the UK.
This page shows the dimensions:
http://cad.aurorabearing.com/item/products-commercial-spherical-bearing-metric-units/s-spherical-bearings-metric-ptfe-liners-available-/com-m16?
/>
Compare it to the spec of the one on McGill, and its very close.
We purchase a lot of bearings at work, so I took it down to one of our suppliers to show them. It was a special order, but arrived in a few days.
I'm sure we used DRP bearings in Grimsby
