Actual mileage.......
Car looks very nice , is it a 1.6 or 1.8 ? Also the mileage stated in the Ad. is 2000 , presumably since it was built......how many miles have the
engine , gearbox , diff + other " used " components covered ?? Worth taking this into account....

This is the peak price "selling" time of year as the weather's good - the £10k asking price seems a lot to me.
That said it's a few years now since I built, drove and sold my MK Indy (2.0 Sierra Pinto donor car). By way of reference that sold for £5k.

MNRs do seem to demand more than most 7 replicas. Its worth what youre willing to pay (or whoever else has made him offers) as cars like these dont
come up often enough o have a guide price.
I like the look of the MNRs, even with the Marmaite nose, but that colour scheme makes it look all out of proportion. (not helped by the stupidly high
cages MNR put on non caged cars.)

The car engine has done over 120k along with the box the 2000 miles is on the MNR car only. I actually found it was sold on eBay to the guy selling it
for £7600 in April so he’s asking now 10k but says open to offers. I’m 6ft5 so found the MNR is accommodating for my height and I like that you don’t
see many of these etc.
Just a bit worrying that he’s had it for 2 months now selling

Best way to look at it sometimes is to ask, how much would it cost me to built that?
Then decide whether you wan to build or buy.
Duratec Engine is fitted, MS2 Extra V3 is assembled and tested, engine running, car now built. IVA passed 26/02/2016

Detective work pays off.....
Interesting to note that the car was sold to the current owner a couple of months ago for £7600.......so why should it now be £10,000 ?? I personally
think that I would question even spending £7600 , bearing in mind the mileage on the engine etc......it does look nicely put together from the photos
, but there are more for sale surely ?? maybe not MNR but others to consider. Before I bought my MK INDY I looked at an MNR.....BMW based.....looked
really nice , £12,000 ish....but engine and running gear had covered 103,000 miles.......owner argued that it had only covered 3000 miles......yes I
said , the kit had covered that..........I then bought an MK INDY built from all new parts , including the engine , only the diff and the gearbox were
used parts. I have owned it for 6 years and still think it was an excellent buy. I have of course made a number of changes along the way......but the
basic build remains unchanged. If I were you , I would look elsewhere.........but of course that is just my opinion.

Yeah it miffed me off that he’s done 400 miles bought off eBay for £7600 in April and now wants 10k or on piston heads 12.5k!!
I’ve started looking else where already just hard to establish what’s a good buy

Good point, I did research with the previous 2 owners before I bought mine and with Marc at MNR. Only components are diff, gearbox and engine I
believe. Very sweet though. 1.6 is my preference having owned serval Mk1's.
I prefer the age related plate to a Q plate, personal preference.
Fancy a self build, but also need to make space! Choices...

Based in Derby with a GBS Zero (Race) Welcome to come and try mine for size; I'm 6 foot 5 and fit in it really well. Plenty of room, nice cars
too the GBS's are.
If it isn't broken; take it apart and fix it! Build PhotoBlog:

somewhat amusing that he boasts that its factory built but just 1500 miles later needs a £750 service
