electrics help!
hi all,
i've just taken the 5 relays out of the relay box to relocate it, and have plugged the relays back in to find out that the indicators dont
work.
i thought i'd knacked the flasher relay but i could get them to flash using the hazard lights switch, but after a few flashes the relay stopped
clicking and now they dont work at all now.
what have i done?!

Hard to say from your description. Is all that you've done, move the relays? Have you put the flasher relay in the right place?

yep flasher is on the far left, the odd one out from the rest of them.
just checked the fuses and these had blown:
fuse 1: horn and hazards, 10 amp
fuse 3: indicators and stop lights. 10 amp
replaced them both and fuse 3 blew again as soon as i tried the indicators.

sounds like there is a short on your indicators then. Go through it step by step looking for shorts. Unplug the indicator bulbs and get your multi
meter on it.

I'll check that out then. I hadnt really touched any form of electrics that day other than the relays but thinking about it, while i was
contorted into a crippling position under the passenger side i might have knocked the nearside indicator wire. sounds like a likely culprit..
heres hoping its not the relay or the steering column switch..
