There's some in for sale section, or mnr can supply parts, and in exploded diagram it shows hub/stub and bearing, spacer, compression and then bolt but its actually hub/stub and bearing, compression washer and then spacer with bolt though. Ill send you a pic via email with my finger pointing to it.

Whats the name of the user selling them.... as I can see the thread in the forsale section, but it wont even show me who has posted it up because it is less than 48hours old and I need to be a contributor, I think its to do with the number of posts ive made on the forum?

has the stub axle bolt snapped causing the prolem as the upright seems in tact. unless its bent. the originals were snapping! that wheel is seriously out of line so it could have bent the wheel studs or the stub axle

Been sitting thinking a lot about this since it happened.

I think what has happened is that the stub axle bolt has been loose and has allowed the stub axle to move and wear away the internal of the upright. The wheel has probably been sitting at a bit of an angle before i got the car (and i didnt notice it when initially viewing it). The 200 mile drive home has basically just killed the internal of the upright and the hub, eventually putting enough strain on the calliper to snap its mounting bracket.

Just hope mnr can sort me out with the parts to fix that side.

Im goin out now to my garage to strip down the drivers side and check its all ok.

check the stub axle bolt on the drivers side as well as the hub nut.
you will possibly need a pair of steel uprights, a new hub and bearings.

Cheers Daniel, stripped down the drivers side an everything is fine, looks like just the passenger side needs replacing.

Im gona do a full nut and bolt check on it over the next few days to hopefully prevent any future mishaps similar to what has happened so far.

Will post up again once I am further on with resolving...

was unsure if they still do the alloy version as the steel ones they do are both lighter and stronger. they also have wingstay brackets pre welded.
