mnr balance bar

hi
the cylinder pushrod clevis's either side of the brake pedal,do they have to be tuching the pedal so it cant move from side to side without screwing the balance bar.
a picture of one ready for sva would be great.
thanks.

There should be a slight gap. As you press the pedal the angle of the bar changes. Without the gap the clevices would bind against the pedal tube.

Have a look at the Rally Design site for setup guide.

Here is mine after SVA. I put a thin washer between pedal and clevis. Pic also shows roll pins in lock nuts. Rescued attachment P1010105.JPG

ok so how do i get the clevices closer together with the master cylinders fitted,
does the pushrods screw off or do you have to spin the masters?

Your clevis' have to be in line with the mastercylinders otherwise you'll get sideways forces on the pistons. Take up the gap with spacers/washers and keep the pushrods parallel.
