ideas on how to secure light bracket, mnr.

looking for how u attached the crossbar firmly to hold the front lights,picture would be good aswell.

I did mine with an M5 or M6 bolt each side (can't remember exact size but either will do). I drilled and tapped a hole in the top of the chassis rail, no problem so far. Rescued attachment Nose cone fixings.JPG

We have bolted the bar to the bent tubes behind the radiator instead of the side rails. We drilled the tubes, used spacers to lift the bar above the sides of the tub, used a threaded rod and nylocs on both sides. This way the headlight bar doesn't put any stress on the GRP.

I used an M6 or M8 rivnut and it was mounted in the same place as Stuarts

i think this time i will just tap the chassis,
as you have to drill friggin big holes for rivnuts, which is never nice to do on such a nice chassis
