Availability is not a problem - ebay.

I'm pretty sure they're legal as long as they meet regs for mounting, angle etc, being lit at night maybe...

^ yep, a lot of new cars (well, maybe 3/4 years old. haven't thought about it for a while, so i don't know about newer) still seem to have them. the rear plates are often stuck on to a backing. they start to ripple after a bit

not what I heard. the story I have is that stick on plates were never legal, ever, Even in the good old E-type Jaguar days they were not legal but police were not as picky then as they were too busy catching real criminals rather than raising cash from speed cameras

All plates have to have the British Standard No on them. The stick on plates that are available don't have it so are illegal.

That said...guess whats on my Fury?

If you do go for one I'd make sure it's legal in every other way (font, size, spacing, etc) and I think you'll be ok.
