MNR mounting no plates

Hi, Looking ahead to fitting some plates and obviously rear isnt a problem but what about the front one - with the sort of miles it will do im considering ditching it, anyone else doing this or have you attached one, and if so how without ruining the look.
Cheers
Adam

I've never had a front plate on a KC, considered ditching on the MX5 to be honest!

We didn't have a front plate on for the first 3 years, until the first MOT.
We just stuck a plate on the nosecone with double sided pads fully expecting it to fall off shortly after the test, but it's stubbornly hanging on

I was only questioned once about a lack of front plate when I was pulled for speeding, I just told the officer it didn't need one as it weighs under 550kgs.

Don't think I'd have got away with it if he'd been trafpol though

I know someone who has his front plate in the boot, fitted with some dried up sticky pads. He plan, if ever he was stopped, was to say it had just fallen off. Dodgy though.

I'm told you can get some smaller but still legal plates that are about the same width as a seven nose cone.

Mines stuck on with sticky pads on a little alli bracket that keeps it flat.

I've seen a few peeps with no plate on the front but under the seat...
