Oil Galley Plugs

Hi all, the oil galley plugs on my Xflow block will not budge - has anyone got any tips for removing them?

I'm trying to rebuild the engine and I want to renew these plugs and clean out the galleys.

Thanks
Rich

If youre clearing out the opilways anyway, then how about drilling some holes across the centre to weaken it, and use a hammer and cold chisel to bend it and get them out?

Try using a drift down the center of the hexagon and give each plug a few good clouts then using a good correct size Allen key to undo them . I used a bit of extra leverage when I did mine as they were pretty tight.
