It moves!
Following on from my last post, I had my first drive this morning, what a feeling, so worth the frustrating episodes.
I had several attempts to get it moving last weekend, all resulting in stalling when selecting a gear (as though clutch wasn't moving) a few
emails/calls to Malc via Chris at MNR for a fix (thanks guys!). Ended up removing the clutch plates giving them a good soak in oil overnight,
reassembled and re-adjusted the release mechanism last night... 1st attempt with engine running today was a success

Have a good one

Cool so do you have brakes and steering too for a sneaky drive?

Great feeling isn't it. Have you stopped grinning yet.
If thats your first drive of a BEC it was very smooth. My first drive went with a bit of a hop and stall.
What reverse are you using?

Sill grinning... Yes, may just have to have another go later shame my bit of driveway isn't a bit longer.
Yeap my first time at the controls. I'm using a Quaife reverse box (for the time being), was a bit tricky engaging rev, is this normal?
Think i need to have another go at bleeding the brakes, they felt very soft.
Cheers,
Will
