Hydraulic fittings supplier?
Afternoon all,
Does anyone know of a Hydraulics type fittings supplier that doesn't mind taking orders for a couple of small parts? I'm after a couple
of 1/8" BSPT male to 7/16" JIC male adapters (plated steel or brass). Apparently they are not very common, and the local suppliers near
me won't order them in
Cheers

Just to be pedantic you are looking for JIC -4 (pronounced dash 4 )to give it the proper designation
Come on Whippy read the description properly!
I'll have a rumage at work but if we have anything it will probably be npt ?

Are you 100% sure you need 1/8" BSP? 1/8" BSP and NPT are extremly close, NPT is 27tpi and BSP is 28tpi
Had a rummage at work yesterday, wasn't entirely succesful although I did find enough adaptors to go from JIC -4 to 1/8" NPT (JIC-4 x
1/4"NPT nipple + 1/4"NPT barrell + 1/4" NPT x 1/8" NPT nipple) to total length 80mm
Sorry didn't have the right fitting but let me know if these are any help.

Thanks for looking Davie.
The fitting has to be a BSPT fitting, as it is going into a cast zinc housing on a pressure sensor, and the datasheet explicitly states that other
fittings (especially BSPP, and NPT) fittings hsould not be used.
I think I've found a source from a supplier down south though, just waiting on a price from them
Cheers
