Bonnet scoop
Hi all,
I have just purchased a bonnet scoop from Chris for my vortex. Not strictly needed but I like the look.
Can anyone post a photo of your installation so I can see how to fix. He did mention somthin...flex adhesive but do you just place the scoop on the
top of the bonnet, is it really that sticky??
Any pics and top tips, I would appreciate it.
Anthony

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

Thats what i thought, but mine looks a little loose and the cars only done 30 miles - just added a bit of silicone in the places i can reach and are
invisible

ensure the area you apply the silkaflex to is keyed for better adhesion
Life is like a bowl of fruit, funny how all the weird looking ones are left alone

take a look in my blog. although a different scoop, the same theory applies. i would cut the bonnet and bond from underside. if your scoop has no lip
around the outre edge i would fit one!
