zetec plenum question
Hi,
I'm converting my westfield Crossflow to a blacktop zetec engine.
I'v kept the original inlet plenum and i'm looking for some kind of a airfilter box / tube
found this picture on the net,
any idee from witch car it came ??? or was it specialy made for Westfield ?

Im pretty sure that airbox was made by westfield.
You may be able to pick up an inline airfilter box & just add ducting to the throttle body if your after a locost solution ?
This is what i mean : ebay item number 270748727024
Give a man a fish & it will feed him for a day, give him a fishing rod & you've saved a fish.

If some one new what it was made of it would give an idea of its make. If its fiberglass it will be Westfield. If its abs or somthing elts it will be
OE from a car manufacture.
There was some talk a few years back when a guy fitted one, that it looked very much oe from a diesel puegeot ??????

RAW told me they'ds been working on an ITG filter for using standard zetec injection in the striker. Im sure it would fit most 7s.

Ok it took an hour but I found the pics.
My opinion on it. I can see no provision for the ford idle control valve. This is really needed with the eec family of ecu's. It can be got
around but the ford one works so well. So its still aimed at aftermarket ecu's ie omex / megasquirt
You still need a sandwich plate from an early Fiesta / Escort to mount the injectors. At least with the griffin you could just stick your injectors
into the new manifold. Its saved a few pence in steel and a little labour.
I love the shape and length of the runners and really like the proper bell mouths inside the plenum. somthing that you couldnt really do with the
griffin.
Price £235, look forward to seing it at Newark.
