how to mount the clutch pedal

whats the best way to couple the clutch pedal to the master cylinder?
i am using the mnr pedal box and pedals and wilwood master cylinder, and if a clevis was wound on to the thread of the cylinder and pinned to the padal it would throw the pedal way too far forward! is there a possible way to shorten the threaded rod on the master cylinder without removing it, (space is very tight in the footwell). as to remove it would mean removing brake fluid resevoir, clutch cable, all steering components to get access due to the limited space with the honda engine/box! cheers.

not sure but I would

drop pedal forward ? wind the nut on ( to clean treads after cutting ) hold bar with vice grips and dremmel off with a small spinning cutter.
