Type 9 Angle drive Speedo
Hi all,
quick question, i have an angle drive adapter for my speedo sensor, when i screw the sensor on securely but not overly tight it doesn't work,
but if i slacken the sensor it works.
Any ideas on the cause?
thanks

Sounds like it bottoming out, is it possible to put a thin washer inside or maybe a circlip to try and lift it slightly?
Cheers

Other option is that there may be something in the recess for the square drive that sits between the gearbox bit and the adaptor?
I am assuming it's the 90deg bit that goes into the gearbox speedo drive? If not, tell me to shove off!
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

A washer between the sender and angle drive worked perfectly
Thanks
