So about to bite the bullet and put down my deposit on a Vortx, will be going with the CBR1000RR engine as recommended by MNR.
Any last minute recommendations / comments before I move forward?
Cheers

I started a build blog if anyone's interested. I couldn't find any other MNR Vortx CBR 1000 RR build diaries so if anyone else is starting
out this might be of interest.

Looks good
Will have a proper look later on ipad, too many pics to look at on phone.
Whats the crack with deleting water pump on these, just due to room or something else?

Thanks.
Remove the water pump to run an electric pump. If you leave the mechanical pump in place there's no coolant in it to cool it down thus why you
remove and add the delete kit.

so the electric pump is just out of choice, not a necessity with this engine/instalation in a car?

Well here's what I've been told...
Oil cooler is a must. If you intend on tracking the car and pushing it hard on track the oil temps shoot through the roof making an oil cooler is a
must from day one. Apparently the electric water pump isn't essential but again if you push hard on track, come in to the pits and turn the
engine off to reduce the heat the water temps can continue to rise. With an electric pump you can turn the engine off turn the ignition back on and
run the electric pump to bring the temps down.

Nice build thread there.
Can you not wire the water pump up so it will run until the temp drops right down? Like using a fan switch like you would with the rad fan?

Yes. But apparently the controller pulls silly high amps and causes miss fires so easier to run flat out.
Did you like my 6 hours with the wiring loom?
