Contacting MNR
Hello folks,
I decided to chase up an email about outstanding missing parts in my order by calling MNR. I spoke to Marc, and it appears that BT have screwed up
their internet connection, so email and any messages on this forum are probably not getting through. BT should have them back up and running
again on Thursday. Until then, telephone, snail-mail or smoke signals
Cheers,
Mick

Begs the question; why can't they use mobile internet (3G/4G) to cover the downtime? Surely it's a business priority (or should be) to
stay connected to communications?

Seeing as though they are bang in the middle of nowhere I suspect 3g/4G coverage may be an issue.

From experience at work BT are not the sharpest tool in the box and 3/4G can be costly (although necessary in some cases).

Location can be an issue, but then workwise we're in Basingstoke and suffer p33 poor internet speed as the cabling is old and lacking.
According to BT replacement (fibre I assume) cabling is 3-4 years away.

Their location (HG3 2QL) has good indoor 3G reception with EE and Three according to the Ofcom site.

A 3G/4G router is Marc's backup plan if BT don't do tomorrow what BT promised to do.

They're all up and running again, and I've chased up my outstanding parts. At least it's bought me time to decide to paint the
engine cover properly. Kawasaki Green of course

They are right next to that American listening station who I suspect send out jamming signals.
They are actually closer than what they let the protestors camp!
