Not someone I followed, but I do recall the "You spin me round" record from my younger days - I think I had a 7" of it (vinyl was
big back then).
Seems young to die, but I'm guessing he was a bit of a wild card!

I know of the two songs mentioned as they are classics, even for me at 34!
He did end up being a funny looking fellow though.
Track days ARE the best thing since sliced bread, until I get a supercharger that is!

Loved some of the stories of when Pete in his younger days before he was famous worked in a record shop in Liverpool , he didn't hold back if
someone asked for a record he didn't like ......... It was the punk era when new wave and small record labels were the trend, Pete dressed
outrageously with black contacts making him look like a scary punk alien serving behind the record shop counter and holding court ... People came in
the shop just to gawp at him , one customer asked do you have 2112 by Rush ? .... Pete said in a strong scouse twang "we don't sell that
shite in here" ........ Class RIP Pete
