Duratec intake/carb options..?

Hello All,

What are some good options to use other than the stock intake manifold on a Duratec engine?

The owner planned to use the original PCM, etc, but hasn't quite figured things out yet.

The vehicle will primarily be used for racing, so performance rather than economy is the focus.

I've seen many throttle body set ups for sale here, but am confused as to what will and won't work on this engine.

Thanks!

Rob

you will need an aftermarket ecu, like a megasquirt or something. which can be supplied in a kit from that site

I use a Megasquirt ECU and Jenvey throttle bodies each with twin injectors.

The engine was set up by Baily performance and puts out 193hp from a stock engine.

We tried bike throttle bodies but they are very much a compromise, if you want the most power I would reccomend Jenveys or similar.
