That beats any of my impulse buys hands down too! Unless you count my house??
Anyway, With this automated tube bender thingy, would you be able bend an exhaust from CAD data, or is it not quite "that" automated?
I'm going to be looking for somewhere to make a custom exhaust for my car in the next couple of months. I could probably make a start on
designing it on Solidworks sooner than that though.
Just wondering!
Cheers

correct not that automated, did ask but was shocked when i was told for the smallest machine capable of up to 32mm was £483,000 + tooling
the one i have bought is a semi automatic digitally programmeable machine, this should speed up our tube bending by approx 30% over our old one
also will be invaluable for a new car we are embarking on
just got to wait ten days for it to come from italy

Blimey! Not cheap that NC lark is it?!
So if I wanted a custom exhaust bending (it's for a mid engine car by the way), what would I need to do before getting someone like you to bend
it for me?!
Would you need some kind of a pattern to work from, or a dimensioned drawing?
It would be to suit a stock 4a-ge engine, so Im not sure what diameter tube would be best. I'm going to be fitting an aftermarket ECU, so power
should be a little bit higher than stock (125bhp ish?).
Cheers
