MNR chassis

hey Up,

some of you may know that I'm one of the technical advisors for the Locost Car Club.

I've been contacted by a couple of members about the MNR chassis.

Apparently they've heard that the chassis comes without pedal mounts or seat belt anchorages.

Is this correct?

Cheers

Chris

I took delivery of a VortX RT+ kit at the end of October (1 of the first new round tube ones), and mine has both the Pedal Box mounting and the seat belt upper anchorages. I don't believe they make the kits without them.

My MNR Vortx RT chassis (also known as the road car chassis) came with upper and lower seatbelt mounting points and with a pedalbox welded into the chassis.

The pedals, pivot bars and bushes were included in the kit as I recall.

nope all 7 chassis have rear top harness mounts incorporated in the rear bulkhead top panel, lower mounts are in the form of nut anchorage plates fixed through the floor, some of the earlier cars had a plate welded for the pedal box to bolt too, but the newer ones have the pedal assembly box welded in prior to powder coating

hopoe this helps

best regards

marc
