Got a Registration Number at last
After two weeks of waiting for the DVLA, I have finally got a regiastration number, and that's only because I hassled them yesterday and the day
before. They were going to wait another week before doing it, they said.
So I'm all road legal now. 3 1/2 months to build, 3 1/2 months to get SVA and registration plates.
Had a quick blat round some local streets and saw steam in the passenger footwell and round the near side. A coolant pipe had popped off a tee
piece. Lucky I keep tools in the boot. Still no harm done. I must get some more antifreeze in the morning.

I dumped the "heater" matrix from the original heater and have build a new one using the fan (which is quite powerfull when allowed to
blow air) and a matrix from a subaru WRX. Finished making it this morning and was going to fit it when the DVLA phoned to say my number plate was
ready. Will fit the heater some other time

Excellent news
I look forward to seeing the car at the next meeting (weather permitting).
