what would you reconmend for a (standard for now) crossflow which will be moving to 1700 (or 1800 if i can dare the expense of upgrading the AX
block) with high compression etc etc

I'd go for the PC625 Mike, and I'll be using one of those too on mine.......
have you emailed Marc? If we're both using em might as well get a pair posted together? Just a thought.
