Steering wheel size for VortX RT+
I am building a RT+. What is the most popular steering wheel size ? 320 mm or 260 mm ?
How about a flat bottom for more leg clearance.
Any suggestion for seats. I see Kris used Cobra seats. How about MOMO ?
I want something with some padding to protect my mature backside.

I use an omp flat bottom steering wheel...
Quick release boss as well... very nice.. cannot remember the size but its quite small and gives nice weight and feel..
Opinions are like backsides..
Everyone has one, nobody wants to hear it and only other peoples stink!

secord all of that....mines 330mm...
found that it makes little leg room diff because my knees sit either side of the wheel, but it does make alot a diff getting in and out if you leave
the wheel on

Hi RogerL,
The choice of seats is somewhat limited in [almost all] LSIS cars due to limited width.
Theres nothing from MOMO, OMP or Sparco for instance that will fit. Cobra 7s fit as they are designed for a LSIS and are very narrow. Intatrim also
make seats especially for sevens.
Failing that youre into custom GRP/Carbon ones.
Once my car is SVAd Il be fitting the OMP flat bottom wheel (superturismo I think). I wouldnt want too go much smaller because I think the steering
will be pretty heavy without assistance.
Rgds

330 with the quick rack... seems good enough!!
and the cobra roadster 7's are quite small seats and just fit they squeeze against the tunnel and the sides- but are really comfortable and
just the right height
