New Boy

New boy here !!!

I've just emailed MNR enquiring about a VortX kit, as the time is just about right.

This will be my first build, something I've wanted to do for years. I first came across MNR earlier this year at Oulton Park, and was very impresssed. So much so, I haven't looked anywhere else, I think my mind is made up.

I'm planning a VortX / R1, mainly for road use, possibly a track day or two, who knows.

What do I need to know before I take the leap of faith ?

Nice to meet you all

Martin

Nice cars, nice guys what more do you need, you just need to choose either the new type nose or the traditional style but I'm sure Marc or Chris will give you the best possible advice.

Regards

R

Welcome to the asylum - whoever gave this lot the keys needs teir head examining!

I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator headlights, indicators, mirrors etc, best prices in the UK! Take a look at http://www.furoreproducts.co.uk/ or find more parts on Ebay, user names furoreltd & furoreproducts, discounts available for LCB users.
Don't forget Stainless Steel Braided brake hoses, made to your exact requirements in any of around 16 colours. http://shop.ebay.co.uk/furoreproducts/m.html?_dmd=1&_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Welcome to the madhouse. There's nothing you really need to know, just take the leap, you won't regret it. Nice choice of engine BTW.

Phil

What Phil said....

I spent 18 months trying to decide, and look what I've got on order. I think you've made the right choice.

1st thing, start stashing cash away that the mrs dosnt know about as you'll need it.

if she finds out how much you've spend you'll be in trouble

all the best with the build

Too bloody true. I think the new nose will look better in the flesh.

Only doing 1/2 days on Saturday, either your slacking off, or the misses has stuck her foot down.
