i'll hopefully get mine built in about 2 weeks and that'll involve working too. the thing i'm doing different to every other time i've built one, is this time i'm getting the majority of parts in the garage before the kit arrives, instead of waiting weeks for specials to arrive.

agreed
thats the key having all the parts to hand cleaned / part assembled ready to fit in assemblies.

thanks all
1st time build so i don't expect to finish in 2 weeks! but i hope to be on the road late summer.
Power is R1 injection, and i'll use it any time I can (even for shopping) hopefully the odd track day as well.
March seems a long way off, but i've plenty to do before build.

well done.

Wont be disapointed drove mine home from Marc's on Saturday got soaked through, Smile on my face all the way home ( apart from the grimace when I had the 4 wheel drift ) Quick rack saved the day again !!!

Oh the smile was removed by SWIMBO stating that I was 3 hours late and that as a forfit had to pay for the Saturday Take away.Worth every penny though .

Regards

Birthday!

That will be a great Bday present!
I spent mine (Dec19th) outside in the cold/wet building my car and loving every second of it!!!

but as above, don't wait for anything - get absolutely everything as prepared as you can do. You will enjoy it a damn sight more with clean prepared parts to hand!

all the best.

7 days to go - at the moment my biggest concern is that the garage floor will still be wet.
