Fuel Light

I am using the original R1 clocks and have bought a MNR fuel tank and sender. When I connected the wires, the clock low fuel light stays on. Do I need a resistor or something fitting.
Please keep it simple
cheers Rob

Yep, a 470 ohm resistor worked for me.
Take the fuel line feed in to the clocks and ground it to earth through the resistor.

Maplin have shops all over the country and also do mail order, but the 2p cost of a resistor will be swamped by the postage.

In the olden days, a TV repair shop would sell you one. I don't suppose there are such places today.
