Drivers Footwell Bulkhead
Afternoon all.
Before I go and bend the panel in half to get it passed the chassis rails, can anyone give me any advice on how best to manouvre the drivers footwell
panel into place. I've had it in once and it fits beautifully once in. The problem is that getting it there takes a lot of squeezing, swearing
and scraping. I need to get it in and out at least twice more as holes need to be drilled before powdercoating and final fitting.
Help appreciated.....

I made a cardboard template that could be bent, but importantly ends up the right size. Then you only have to fit the real thing once!
Mark.
PS - This was on a Tiger but assume the same would apply.

I found that cutting things to fit exactly to shape using cardboard templates didn't work.
You had to make things slightly smaller and have more notches to get around things, you'll find the same when it comes to the bodywork!
