Diesel clutch for Zetec RWD

Hi Guys,

I'm puting a 2l Zetec with 1.8 flywheel mated to type 9 in my Vortx, I was wandering if I could use a diesel clutch instead of the widely used 2l OHC one. Diesels are more toquey so the cutch should also be stronger ergo it will last longer with the Zetec. has anybody tried this route ? If so, which clutch was used (2.3d ?).

Thanks and regards,

Michal

The standard clutch should be fine for the job, remember your car weighs less than half the weight of the donor car and won't be doing anywhere the mileage required of a tintop clutch.
