Suspension bushings
Just a quick query:
Which parts rotate relative to each other in the typical '7' suspension bush consisting of a stainless steel tube inside a pair of
'top hat' plastic bushes?
I'm assuming that you do the bolts up tight so the stainless tube is clamped in the bracket, and the bushes are a tight fit in the wishbones.
That way the movement occurs between the bushes and the tube (or do the bushes just twist?).
Am I right? Also, is any form of lubrication normally used?

I'm using steelsleeve rubber bushes from a peugot 205.
The inner steel bush will be clamped between the bracket.
There is no lubrication needed. I would use grease to fit the bolt just to protection againt rust.
It's important that you tighten them as the car is on his wheels in driving position! Or else the bush will be "overturned" and will
wear out quickly

You have it correct, it is essential that the movement is betwween the bushes & the inner tube, otherwise bits will wear out very quickly.
I no longer run Furore Products or Furore Cars Ltd, but would still highly recommend them for Acewell dashes, projector headlights, dominator

I used a bit of copper slip to help ease the bushes in.....

You should not use an Oil based greese as this distroys some types of bush, If you go to a push bike shop you can bye a 100% silicon grease for a
couple of quid and its perfect.

I have to measure.
Next weekend if needed.
The inner is normal 10 mm but I drilled them up to 12 mm. DR-Fastlane uses them with 10 mm.
A good grade bolt and 10 mm should be ok.
