MNR tools?

Hi just wondering what everyone used building their MNR when it says rivnut tool as im unsure what to purchase, where from,in what size and an idea of cost please?

i bought myself a new rivnut gun with 40 rivnuts from Ebay. cost me about £23 delivered

they dont have any more in at the moment though

Get a good drill and lots of quality bits. Get a deburring tool. Consider Cleco fastners (brilliant temporary rivet things - car builder solutions), get a bag of plastic quick clamps from B&Q. Get a cheap set of digital vernier calipers.

I bought a bag of rivnuts off ebay and simply used a bolt, nut and washer to pull them through.

Only needed them to fit the fuel tank sender at the moment... don't think I'll need any more

Im going to use them on my rear wings, so that they are easily removed should the need arise

I think some M8 are needed for the scuttle and nose, although I haven't got that far yet. Someone will give a definitive answer soon no doubt.
