MNR Body Fit
hi, in need of some advise
where the body rolled edge arches up to meet the topseat belt/roll bar mountong plate and then has a lip around the boot area (clear?) do i need to
cut the rolled edge level with the lip so the lip sits on the top seat belt mounting plate. As it is, the rolled edge is approx 1" below the
boot lip and I am unable the get the body down far enough to get the lower edge under the car.
I know a photo would help explain it but can't get one to appear in ths message, I have one in my photo archive if you would be so kind to cast
an eye over.
I don't want to cut too much to then find out I've really F**ked it up
Thanks

i've just had a look at your photo (or haven't as the case is).
I'd guess you need to upload the photo without the '#' in the name, i think its throwing the computer as i can't see
anything.
With regard to your problem, i think you may need to trim - BUT DON'T START YET. someone else with an MNR posted recently as they trimmed
something around where you're talking and took too much out. Can't remember who tho. Was about 2 or 3 weeks ago.

i think i know what you mean
and yes you need to cut the rolled part/lip, i had to cut quite alot to make it fit,
dont worry i ve found with my build you just have to cut what you need to make it fit sometimes the measurements in the build manual are not enough, i
had to cut alot more on the body to make the rear susspenssion fit
cheers
