Exhaust Ground Clearance
I have spent ages trying to get my exhaust to fit and so far this is the best i have achieved but i am doubtful of the ground clearance. Is anybody
else's like this? (It's an MK exhaust).

You should be OK if you can achieve about 4"/100mm clearance - that should clear most speed bumps.

Doesn't look quite right to me - I wouldn't have thought it should hang below the floor line really.
Does it help to rotate the 4 into 2 into 1 bit?

Looks a bit low to me. Have you got your engine further back than "standard"?

I did try rotating the 4-2-1 part and it will go another way taking a higher line down the chassis, but then it's angled inboard and pulls the
endcan right into the passenger side badly fouling the chassis regardless of how i rotate the intermediate angled section to re-direct it.
The engine is no further back than standard as far as i am aware.

Due to the angle we had our engine to get the gearbox lower and the remote gear shift completely hidden the tunnel our exhaust was a little lower like
that,
We cut a slice out after the weld on the topside of the 4-1 bent it up and then had it welded again.

Looks too low for my liking.... Ground clearance near the axle's is less of a problem. Exactly half way between the axles is more likely to be a
problem on speed bumps...

You could put spacers under the n/s engine mount or cut it apart and reweld.
looks as if 2 blokes made it and and they forgot to talk to each other.
