Hi everyone
having an engine overhaul at the moment and whilst taking the rad out I did notice its not in the best of condition
has anyone changed to a aluminium one ?
can you share any info (sizes and prices) recommend where to go.
thank you
The cheap polo/golf type are used a lot. Have a look on fleabay for sizes, but they start about £25ish...
Will depend on engine and current rad etc, hoses may need altering but plenty of choices.

IIRC I used the VW302E rad on my 2.0 Pinto engine MK Indy. Didn't cost that much, fitted into the MK nose cone and worked just fine.
Thanks everyone. 👍
For future reference - Polo dimensions but different core thickness available - run a 70 mm core one in the Velocity.
