Peugeot Wheels - few questions
givemethebighammer - 13/6/09 at 08:17 PM

I picked these up (well actually hobzy picked them up for me - thanks for that)

Peugeot 405 Mi16 Alloys and new 195/45/15 tyres

Marked 6Jx15 CH4-29, which indicates ET29 (Peugeot forums seem to support this).

Couple of questions

Where can I get:

1. Some reasonable priced spigot rings (65.1 - 63.5)

2. Some 65mm wheel centre (preferably blank) or has someone got some old ones I could sand the logos off and repaint ?)

3. Do I need special wheel nuts for these, my other set of wheels uses these Rally Design ones:

Wheels Nuts - 12mm 1.5 19mm (3/4" HEX 60º (SN41)

I'm using those very wheels
They have 60° nut tapers so standard Ford nuts will suffice. I've used 10mm spacers as these wheels are ET29, bringing the offset back to 19, ideal for Escort running gear.
IMO there's no need for spigot rings, I've never used them and my car has done over 10000 miles in 5 years.
As for centres, I've been a bit cheeky and used Revolution centres, bought for a quid each from Newark show a couple of years ago. (well they do look a bit like revolutions )

Cheers Marcus

I'll have to keep my eyes open for Revolution centre caps.
