In order to beat the credit crunch I have re-started my never ending bid to sell all items in my garage which I don't need.
I therefore have for sale a brand new unused aluminum fuel tank made to my own specifications by Lee at Fusion Fabrication (based in Full Sutton near York).
Dimensions as follows:
Width - 71cm
Height - 26cm
Depth (Bottom) - 20cm
Depth (Top) - 18cm
Other Specifics:
- Main tank has two baffle plates
- There is a circular hole on the passenger side designed for the ETB fuel sender (not included)
- Breather and filler tube on driver's side
- Baffled cube shaped 'catch-tank' underneath on the midline at the rear. This measures 9x9x9cm.
The unit is two months old and was designed to fit my Luego Velocity. I'm sure it would fit most seven type cars.
The trouble I had was that it was just few millimetres too wide to easily fit without having to take off the roll bar (which on the Luego has diagonal bracing). It would have gone in but I would have ended up scratching the powder coat off the roll bar braces. I opted to have Lee make me another just 1cm smaller! My aim was for a tank which I could remove/re-install easily.
Rest assured this unit does fit easily into the Luego chassis as long as the vehicle's roll bar is fitted after.
