Ford 1.7 Puma Engine. Also known as the Sigma or Zetec SE engine.
Developed by Yamaha for Ford and it shows. Very light and very rev-happy!
I bought it such a long time ago that I can no longer remember what the year of manufacture is or how many miles it had done. Suffice to say, I tend
not to buy rubbish, so both would be decent.
Has induction components back to throttle-body.
Comes with a box containing vehicle wiring loom, ECU, and coded keys.
£95 please.
I'm about 20 miles from Edinburgh and would prefer pick-up, but I'll happily strap the engine and the box of bits to a pallet so you can
arrange your own haulier to collect (normally £60-£90 when I do it).

PM'd you, thanks
Scootz, do you know if this engine can be used in a standard 7 type car i.e. can you bolt a RWD Ford gearbox onto it?
I am asking because I have a 1.7 Puma myself and - if the IVA emissions changes come in - might have to fit a fuel injected engine...!
Cheers
John
Hi John
Yes - Caterham have used this engine in their 7 with a Type 9 gearbox. There are a number of companies now offering bellhousings to suit.
