measure the length in millimetres then if its say 675 you need a hdb a675.
or try bsl or any local bearing supliers as they generally do belts too.

Guys, I have just got an old drill press working again.
It is badged as a NuTools one, but looks identical to a small Clarke five speed one.
In sitting still for a number of years the drive belt has taken a permanent kink which causes the whole thing to shake.
Anyone got a clue where I can get a new belt from - I can't find a spares list for it anywhere.
Measure it and try Venner, they make drive belts.
If its just a standard V-pulley belt, any motor factors will have one, or try a bearing stockist.
Ah - good ideas guys.
It has stretched a bit, as the motor is hard against the end stop at the mo. I will take a 1/2" off it.
Cut the old belt so it fits. Check it on all of the pulleys if it has more than one speed, then measure its length. That's the size you need.
I'll do that - it's got five pulleys each end.

A common belt section size is 'A' follwed a number giving the length.
These will be sold by an engineers mechant or bearing stockist.

Have used motor factors for our belts and auto jumbles from time to time (the latter for keeping spares)
Although dad did find a place localy that did belts.
