Suggest a basic video editing package for me
locoboy - 16/5/12 at 09:32 AM

Folks,
I have started taking videos at work of vehicles and of engines running in vehicles before removal in order to post on youtube to share the links on our facebook page and to send out links via email to prospective customers to try an put us one step ahead of the average joe breaking cars and selling engines on the net.

I need a bit of software that will allow me to insert text at the beginning of the video giving vehicle details, edit the length of a clip and maybe allow me to put a bit of text at the end like credits giving our contact details etc.

I am not ofay with editing suites so the simpler the better.

It will be running on a windows 7 machine

Thanks
COlin

I've found you can pick up Firewire add on cards for super cheap, and every one I've seen comes with basic video editing software. and of course todays "Basic" is better than the top end packages from just a few years ago.
