Hi All,

Does anyone have any experience of putting 3M carbon effect vinyl onto unpainted fibreglass ? Did it go on / stay on well, or am i best painting it with something first ?

if its to gel coat not a problem otherwise needs sealing first, it would be the fine hairs onthe surface giving a poor bond.

I also think you should be fine, but as with any stick-on application, make sure it is chemically clean first! And try not to overstretch the vinyl as that is the biggest reason for the stuff peeling back...
