W+ : rev counter

B+ : Main output - normally connected directly to the positive terminal on starter solenoid. From there there should be a thick gauge cable to the positive terminal on the battery

D+ : Charge warning lamp, lamps connected to switched ignition.

how come it goes to the rev counter?

it could be used on a diesel engined car, which do not have ignition system.

if you wish to use it, be aware the the crank/alternator pulley sizes will affect the rpm signal.
