Hi can anyone tell me where the (-) from the battery attaches to on the bike, so I can work out what to do with it in my car?

There is an earth point on the engine on top of the clutch basket near the thermostat I think, not in front of the car now. Attach one lead to the chassis earth then have one from the engine to the -ve of the battery.
