buttonless & contactless immobiliser?
loggyboy - 16/5/12 at 03:50 PM

Anyone know of any you can still buy?
Clifford used to to a virtualkey product that was just a tag dangling from your key chain that was detected by the imobilser, much like modern cars. I dont really want a buttoned or contact type one.

Does anyone know the range of the pickup on them? are we talking feet or inches? Ie was thinking in my pocket with sensor behind dash, or in my pocket with sensor in trans-tunnel/under seat?

very low power, so it needs to be near the aerial.

mine got the loop in the side of the seat, and transponder in my pocket, good for confusing mates, go on if you can start it you can take it for a spin

Sort range.

I have my induction loop behind the dash under the electric isolator.
